Great Granny's Pound Cake
1 cup butter
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 2⁄3 cups granulated sugar
2 cups pastry or cake flour
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1. Butter and flour a loaf pan.
- 2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.
- 3. When the mixture is nice and creamy, fold in the flour and salt.
- 4. Spoon into baking pan and bake for 1 1⁄2 hours.
