Great Granny's Pound Cake

<p>Great Granny's Pound Cake is an old-fashioned dessert that stands the test of time. Already a classic in her day, this recipe turns out a soft cakey interior that is moist and rich, with an even crumb. 1 cup butter
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 23 cups granulated sugar
5 eggs
2 cups pastry or cake flour
14 teaspoon salt


  • 1. Butter and flour a loaf pan.

  • 2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat well.

  • 3. When the mixture is nice and creamy, fold in the flour and salt.
  • 4. Spoon into baking pan and bake for 1 12 hours.
